Spring Tonic Maple Syrup Festival

This year’s annual Spring Tonic Maple Syrup Festival was held on April 11th to 12th and went off without a hitch!

The event, which is organized by the Rotary Club of Barrie and the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Area, featured two fun filled days of wagon rides, live music, Zoo-To-You shows and much more. Families could enjoy building their own bird feeders and watching a show put on by re-enactors.  The Rotary Club of Barrie served a delicious breakfast of pancakes and sausages.

According to the owner of Loraday, who is an active Rotarian and is the 2015 Chair for Spring Tonic, “Barrie Rotary puts the money raised at Spring Tonic back into community projects. Environmental restoration projects in partnership with the NVCA, Christmas Cheer, and enhancements to the Royal Victoria Hospital are just some of the many projects supported by the Spring Tonic festival.”

Spring Tonic 2015 was a great success and all involved are excited for the event next year.
